En vue de préparer la rando, j'ai compilé les sources de sacs ("bag" et "pack" dans le Seigneur des Anneaux).

On remarque que :
- on parle quasiment tout le temps des hobbits. Les sacs semblent être des gros sacs à dos bien fermés et solides. En effet, on parles bien d'"épaules" au pluriel quand ils les mettent, donc ce ne sont pas des sacs à bandoulière. Et bien fermés car ils semblent être envoyés dans tous les sens.
- Gandalf semble avoir un petit sac à dos lui aussi.
- Il y a une mention de sac pour un rohir, mais aucune précision si ce n'est qu'il en a beaucoup. On peut alors penser qu'on parle de sacoches de cheval ?

Dans le hobbit, les Nains ont aussi des sacs à dos, je suis quasi sûr qu'on parle de bretelles. Pas la source sous la main.
